Quad bikes, Shooting, Hoverboarding – Away Days

Southern Pursuits. Before we set off, we were treated to a brunch in the office before the taxis arrived to take us down to Sussex. As soon as we arrived we were fully briefed, ready for our day of fun.

The day was fuelled by adrenaline from start to finish, with quad biking, clay pigeon shooting and even hoverboarding! We decided to start with hoverboarding. We got into pairs of two and went around the course together. This was definitely harder than it looked! Nonetheless, we enjoyed some friendly competition about who could complete the course the quickest!

After hoverboarding, we began clay pigeon shooting. After a quick tutorial, we got back into groups of two and started shooting. Each team was cheered on by the rest of us watching from the side lines. We soon found out that it’s definitely an art!

We then moved onto, arguably the best part of the day. It was a quad biking experience through a mapped out path in the woods. Luckily, every member of the group managed to stay on their bikes in some very muddy, hilly conditions. We even had to cross very small, narrow bridges. It gave us all such a thrill!

After a day full of activities, we got changed and headed back to Weybridge to our favourite pub, The Hand and Spear for a well-deserved dinner. We were all tired out after a full on day, so it was nice to be able to sit together and relax.

Hannah Mulea, Marketing Executive says

“Having just completed my first week at EBM, the away day was a fantastic chance to bond with the rest of the team through activities that involved communication, fast pace and attention to detail, skills that we all use daily when producing events! It was a brilliant experience and accurately shooting a clay pigeon was a thrill, especially with the team cheering me on!”
